One undo stepGrey when nothing is picked, orange when elements are picked. The mono label next to it shows the live count (e.g. 24 elements selected) and updates whenever you press Refresh.
The source combo lists every parameter on Room. The target combo lists every shared / project / built-in parameter found on the current selection. Both support type-ahead search.
Three large numerics on top of the preview: green Ready to Copy, red Not in Room, amber No Value. They re-tally as you change source, target, or selection.
Click any of Room, Value, or Status in the header to sort. A tiny arrow icon indicates the active sort direction. Helps you batch-spot orphaned elements at the bottom of the list.
Highlight one or more rows, then click Select In Revit to push that subset back into Revit’s active selection. Combine with Isolate Temporary to focus on the problem elements only.
Once you click Execute, an orange progress bar fills element-by-element. A mono detail line below it reports the current write — Wrote “Conf Room A” → element 481923 — so long runs stay legible.
Each preview row carries a pill: green Copy, red No Room, amber No Value, or grey Skip. Same colour vocabulary as the stats strip so the eye reads them as one system.
The footer holds ▶ Execute on the right and Cancel on the left. Execute is grey until source, target, and at least one Ready row exist — enforcing a clean three-step state before anything writes.
Copy Room Parameters ships as a bundled MSI package. Run the installer and the add-in registers itself automatically — no manual file copying or config edits required.
Obtain the latest CopyRoomParameters-Setup.msi from your Motion-Site distribution package.
Double-click the MSI and follow the prompts. The installer detects your Revit version and places all files in the correct add-ins folder automatically.
Open any Revit project. The MotionSite tab appears in the ribbon — click Copy Room Parameters in the Data Mappers panel to get started.
